New Names for CDPH Clinics

CDPH is proud to announce the renaming of all CDPH clinics in the new year. Each clinic will now be named after its neighborhood and street location, making it easier for residents, community partners and new clients to identify and navigate our facilities.

This change started in 2024 with our Lower West and Roseland clinics changing to Pilsen South Ashland and Roseland East 115th Street respectively. While the names are changing, our commitment remains the same — clients will continue to receive the trusted care they rely on, including mental health, sexual health, WIC, and immunization services.

This initiative strengthens CDPH's role as a committed community partner, ensuring greater visibility and accessibility for all. Stay tuned for updates across our website, social media, and clinic materials as we roll out this change.

CDPH Celebrates Black History Month

This Black History Month, we celebrate Dr. Joycelyn Elders, a visionary leader who broke barriers as the first Black and second female U.S. Surgeon General. A dedicated pediatrician and public health advocate, Dr. Elders championed health education, reproductive rights, and equitable healthcare access, paving the way for a more informed and empowered society.

Her unwavering commitment to public health continues to inspire generations of medical professionals and community leaders. Join CDPH as we honor her legacy and the impact of Black pioneers in shaping a healthier future for all.
