Scheduled Downtime for ProjectDox Upgrade
The City of Chicago’s ProjectDox system for building permits is being upgraded and will be unavailable after 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025. We expect the new ProjectDox site will be online no later than 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. If you begin a building permit application while the system is down, you will receive your email invitation to upload to the upgraded ProjectDox system after the upgrade is complete.
Please note that City of Chicago offices will be closed in observance of Pulaski Day on Monday, March 3, 2025.
