Aviation CMAR Opportunities
The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) offers bid opportunities through its Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) program for the O'hare 21 program. These bid opportunities are not advertised through the Department of Procurement Services but are administered by the various CMARs. It is the policy of the City of Chicago that local business certified as Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Enterprises (WBE) in accordance with Section 2-92-450 of the Municipal Code of Chicago and Regulations Governing Certification of Minority and Women-owned Businesses shall have the maximum opportunity to participate fully in the performance of all City contracts.
The Chief Procurement Officer has determined that the nature of the goods to be provided under this Reference Contract is such that neither direct nor indirect subcontracting opportunities will be practicable or cost effective.
