The Chicago Department of Procurement Services (DPS) host its annual Procurement Symposium (formerly known as the "Vendor Fair") on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Malcolm X College (1900 W. Jackson Blvd.) from 9 AM to 5 PM.

This 10th annual conference was for entrepreneurs and business owners to meet and network with local, county, state, and federal partners who can provide resources and assistance on how to start a business, how to become certified, explain the bidding process,  and how city programs and incentives that can grow your business. Attendees learned about funding, grants, certifications, and other business resources. Attendees pitched their businesses to Government Agencies and Prime Contractors at the Business to Business Matchmaking, while they networked and mingled with like-minded entrepreneurs. 

This conference is the hub for collaborative government contracting opportunities. We were inspired and encouraged by the ways the business community has joined together to create an impact across this beautiful city!
